DemoWomen’s Monthly Medal – Congratulations Jenny Brown!
After a few Tuesday’s of blustery, rainy conditions our women members were finally treated to blue skies and Winter sunshine to play their August Monthly Medal!
Our ever so trendy Jenny Brown, along with a girls best friend (her flash golf scooter) zoomed around the course to post the best score of the day with an impressive Nett 71. Her score was followed closely by runner up Lorraine Theofanis, who scored 74 for the day.
Well done to all our Monthly Medal competitors & congratulations to Jenny on a well-earned victory!

The August Monthly Medal was won by Alan Caldicott with a terrific score of 44pts.
Congratulation Alan on a special achievement and thank you once again to Tar Barrell Brewery and Distillery for the fantastic sponsorship.
Another competition running today was the popular Pro V1 Comp where the entered member with the best score of the day wins 1 dozen Pro v1s and a fantastic Titleist Yeti tumbler. The winner with 40 points was Dave ‘D Mac’ Mac Donald.

DemoReminder – Contacting Triple Zero, Automated External Defibrillator Location & Staff First Aid
Dear Members,
Unfortunately, medical emergencies can occur anywhere at anytime, even when we’re playing golf.
A couple of reminders for everyone:
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
We have an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on site for staff and members to use in the event of an emergency. The AED is located in the small restaurant kitchen and is easy to access for staff and members. To access the AED you go through the kitchen door (pictured above) in the restaurant and it is located on a shelf on the left.
- Contacting Triple Zero
If you need to contact Triple Zero whilst on the course, mobile phones have the ability to “roam” onto other networks in areas where your network doesn’t have coverage. This means that if you dial 000, your call will be routed to the nearest available network, even if it’s not your usual provider.
- Staff First Aid Training
Staff in both the Clubhouse and Golf Shop are trained in First Aid, if you need assistance while at the Club please phone (03) 5975 2784.
We hope the AED, Triple Zero and First Aid are never required, however it’s lifesaving information for us all.
