The Jean Ellis Trophy began with 22 enthusiastic partnerships, all vying for the honour of becoming winners. Even Jean herself was competing for victory of her namesake trophy. After a fantastic series of matches over the past few months, we were down to our final two teams in today’s final.
And congratulations are in order for Trish Wech and Melissa Glenn, who claimed the title with a strong 5 and 4 victory over Marg Hancock and Jan Seal.

Well done to Trish, Melissa and to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this year’s Jean Ellis Trophy. And once again, let’s take a moment to recognise Jean Ellis for her many years of dedicated service to MGC Women’s Golf — as Captain, President, Pennant Captain, Committee Member and for an incredible 46 years of membership.
